**MONDAY BEGINNER VOLLEYBALL PRACTICES** **Mondays: September 21, 28 & October 5, 12| 7:30PM- 8:50PM** **LOCATION:** METUCHEN SPORTSPLEX 215 Durham Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840 **PRICE:** $199 for all 4 practices If the class does not sell out, athletes may join beginning with Week 2 for **$150 for the remaining 3 practices**. **AGES:** Girls ages 9–14 and boys ages 9–12. **EXPERIENCE:** Designed for athletes with less than six months of formal volleyball training. **WHAT WILL ATHLETES LEARN?** Athletes will build confidence while learning the fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, forward and back setting, hitting, serving, transitioning, court movement, communication, and basic gameplay. **PRACTICE DATES:** Monday, September 21 Monday, September 28 Monday, October 5 Monday, October 12 **WHAT TO WEAR:** Kneepads are required. Common brands include Nike, Mizuno, ASICS, Under Armour, and Adidas. Athletes should wear athletic sneakers and clothing that allows them to run, dive, roll, and sit comfortably on the floor. Volleyball shoes, running shoes, or athletic basketball shoes are recommended. Please avoid Converse, Air Force 1s, Crocs, and other lifestyle shoes. Hair that is chin-length or longer should be pulled back and kept out of the athlete’s face. **ALLOWED:** T-shirts, long sleeves, sweatshirts, arm sleeves, secure sleeveless athletic tops, spandex, athletic shorts, leggings, sweatpants, athletic skorts, sports watches, headbands, and secured religious jewelry. **NOT ALLOWED:** Crop tops, jeans, jean shorts, skirts, Crocs, thin or stretchy strap tops, hanging earrings, and beaded bracelets. **REGISTRATION POLICY:** Payment must be completed to secure an athlete’s spot. We hold programs at multiple locations, so please confirm the facility, dates, and times before registering. We cannot provide refunds or makeup practices if an athlete goes to the wrong location, arrives at the wrong time, or misses practice because of another sport, activity, vacation, or scheduling conflict. Please make sure your athlete can attend the listed dates before registering. Athletes registering for the full session will pay **$199 for all 4 practices**. If the class does not sell out, athletes may begin with the September 28 practice and register for the remaining 3 practices for **$150**. Late registration is subject to availability.
