SOUTH PLAINFIELD TRYOUT PREP CAMP August 10, 11, 12 & 13 | 1:00–4:00 PM LOCATION: All Season Sports Academy 2700 Hamilton Blvd, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Air-conditioned facility. FACILITY WAIVER: Required for all athletes. Returning athletes need a new waiver if their last waiver was completed before April 1, 2026. WHO CAN REGISTER? Girls ages 12–16 and boys ages 11–14. Athletes should have at least six months of volleyball experience. Athletes with less experience may register if preparing for a high school tryout. For REC It athletes, this camp is recommended for Intro to Tournaments, Prep for Rotations, and Rotations classes. WHAT IS TRYOUT PREP? This camp prepares athletes for school and club tryouts. Athletes will complete tryout-style drills, track their skills, and learn how to stand out through communication, effort, teamwork, and coachability. Skills covered include: • Spot serving and jump-float serving • Passing, setting, back setting, and tipping • Defensive transitions, swing blocking, covering, and jousting • Rotations, court movement, and gameplay • Advanced drills that combine multiple skills IS THIS A BEGINNER CAMP? Tryout Prep is more advanced and game-like than All-Skills Camp. Athletes should be able to follow two or three coaching instructions while passing toward a target or setting a hittable ball. Athletes do not need to be trying out. This camp is ideal for athletes preparing for eighth-grade, freshman, JV, varsity, or club tryouts. WHAT TO WEAR: Kneepads are required. Athletes should wear athletic sneakers and clothing suitable for running, diving, and floor movement. Hair that is chin-length or longer should be pulled back. Not allowed: crop tops, jeans, skirts, Crocs, thin-strapped tank tops, hanging earrings, or beaded bracelets. REGISTRATION POLICY: Payment must be completed to secure a spot. Confirm the location, dates, and times before registering. No refunds or makeup sessions are provided for arriving at the wrong facility or time, or missing camp because of sports, vacations, activities, or scheduling conflicts.
