SUMMER CAMPS
Camp content descriptions:
(ALL CAMPS ARE CO-ED)
Which camp is right for my athlete?
Elementary Camp: (Girls and Boys: 8–11)
Small groups, lower net, and lighter volleyballs. Athletes learn passing, setting, hitting, serving, movement, and communication through beginner-friendly drills and games.
All-Skills Camp: (Girls 11- 15) and (Boys: 10- 14)
Beginner-friendly but skill-focused. Athletes work on passing, setting, hitting, serving, communication, and basic gameplay. Many drills are coach-led or coach-partnered so athletes can get controlled, successful reps.
Hitting Camp: (Girls 12- 16) and (Boys: 11- 14)
Focused training for attacking. Athletes work on approach footwork, timing, arm swing, power, shot placement, hitting line/cross/cut shots, adjusting to the set, and attacking from different positions. Gameplay is included.
Passing Camp: (Girls 12- 16) and (Boys: 11- 14)
Focused training for serve receive and defense. Athletes work on platform control, defensive posture, footwork, reading the server, seams, hard-driven serves, short serves, diving, and defensive transition. Gameplay is included.
Tryout Prep: (Girls 12- 16) and (Boys: 11- 14)
More advanced and game-like. Athletes combine multiple skills, roles, and decisions within each drill, similar to what they may experience at a school or club tryout. For example, athletes may swing block, transition off the net, prepare to attack, set from the back row, defend, and switch roles throughout the drill.
This camp is a good fit for athletes preparing for 8th grade, freshman, JV, or club tryouts, but athletes do not need to be trying out for a team to attend. They should already have a solid foundation in passing, setting, serving, and hitting because the drills move faster and require athletes to process multiple concepts at once.
Tryout Prep also includes tryout-style drill simulations, performance/stat tracking, and guidance on how to stand out through effort, coachability, communication, court awareness, and smart decision-making.
