Police in Nicosia are investigating attempted murder, after two officials operating traffic cameras were shot at with a hunting rifle in Kokkinotrimithia, authorities said on Friday.According to police, at 11:35pm on Thursday night, while the on duty officials were parked on a section of the Kokkinotrimithia-Nicosia highway, they heard two loud shots.Following the rifle fire, the dr <a href=https://www.cup-stanley.us>stanley usa</a> iver, a 44-year-old officer saw that his 32-year-old partners window had been damaged.The 44-year-old rushed them both to Nicosia General, as they had sustained injuries.Doctors at the hospital said that they both had abrasions on their heads. AUGUSTA, Maine 鈥?A popular hiking area on Big Spencer Mountain in the Moosehead Lake region will get a face lift next month as volunteers work to clean up an old fire rangers cabin that has fallen into disrepair.Ten volunteers are being sought to help with the project being undertaken by the Forest Society of Maine and the Maine Bureau of Parks and Land. Big Spencer Mountain is owned by the state but The Forest Society of Maine has an easement on the property, Karin Tilberg, the societys deputy executive director, said Friday <a href=https://www.stanley-cups.de>stanley cup</a> .Part of the states management plan for the mountain off Moosehead Lakes eastern shore is to dismantle the cabin and carry the nonburnable materials down to a lower location for transport out, Tilberg said. The clean up is scheduled to be done from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
