Films from Israel s Eran Riklis and Hungary s Kornel Mundruczo are among the projects sharing more than $4.6m  Euros 3.7m  from Germany s Leipzig-based regional film fund Mitteldeutsche Medienf枚rderung  MDM . In its first funding session of 2009 MDM gave production support to Riklis  tragicomedy The Mission Of The Human Resource Manager, to be produced by Halle-based Pallas Film, and Mundruczo s The Frankenstein Project, which will reunite him again with Delta co-producer Essential Filmproduktion. The largest single sum, $940,000  Euros 750,000 , went to Philipp St枚lzl s historical drama Goethe! which charts Goethe <a href=https://www.cup-stanley.es>stanley cup</a>  s unrequited love for the 19-year-old Lotte. Goethe! will be produced by Senator Film Produktion with the recently founded deutschfilm at locations in Thuringia and G枚rlitz from August. Pallas Film also received  <a href=https://www.stanleycups.it>stanley cup</a> backing for its Czech-Slovak-German co-production of Tomas Lunak s feature debut and graphic novel adaptation, Alois Nebel. Alois Nebel is produced by Prague-based Negativ Film, Slovakia s Tobogang and the Dresden-based animation company Balance Film. Another supported project was Baran bo Odar s drama Silence  Das Schweigen  which was pitched at last month s Berlina <a href=https://www.stanley-cup.com.de>stanley cup</a> le Co-Production Market. Silence is an adaptation of Jan Costin Wagner s novel of the same name. Driessen has been involved with the sales company since it was founded in the early 90s, and has been MD since 2004.Dutch sales executive Nelleke Driessen is  <a href=https://www.cup-stanley-cup.pl>stanley cup</a> to step down from her position as managing director at Fortissimo Films, it was confirmed on Thursday.In an email to colleagues, the respected industry veteran spoke of her  many wonderful years  at Fortissimo. Ive had the great fortune to work with a fantastic team in both Amsterdam and Hong Kong and with Nicole  Mackie  in London, she commented. There were difficult times after  company co-founder  Wouter  Barendrecht  unexpectedly died in 2009 but Ive been lucky to have had  chairman  Michael  Werner  to support me with loyalty and dedication. Nonetheless, Ive decided that now comes the time to move on and take on new challenges, and Im looking forward to doing that later this year.Speaking to Screen, Driessen confirmed that she intends to stay within the film industry but does not yet know in what capacity.Driessen wont be in Cannes this year but will be staying on as a consultant at Fortissimo for the next three months and she <a href=https://www.stanleyusa.us>stanley usa</a>  doesnt envisage that her departure will cause any disruption at the company.  Michael  Werner  is still there and others are still there and so they will continue for sure.
