Magnolia Films has acquired all US rights from Myriad Pictures to Jacob Tierneys thriller Good Neighbours.Jay Baruchel, Scott Speedman and Emily Hampshire star in the film which screens this weekend at the Whistler Film Festival in Canada.The film tells the story of a serial killer on the loose in the dead of winter and three apartment residents who unwisely take shelter indoors.Magnolias senior vice-president Tom Q <a href=https://www.cups-stanley-cups.us>stanley cup</a> uinn brokered the deal with Myriad president and CEO Kirk DAmico and senior vice-president of business affairs David Ducar. The UK city of Liverpool is starting a scheme for three feature films to be shot there in the run up to the 2008 Capital of Culture celebrations. N <a href=https://www.stanleycups.us>stanley cup</a> orth West Vision is partnering with the Liverpool Culture Company, the UK Film Council and the BBC for the Digital Departures scheme.Each of the three films will have a cash budget of $486,000  拢250,000  to be fully financed by the partners.Writers, directors and producers from the broader Northwest are eligible, and will work with experienced industry professionals.The features will be developed, shot and post-produced in Liverpool and will premier <a href=https://www.stanleymug.us>stanley mug</a> e in the city in autumn 2008. The films will then be distributed nationally and internationally on digital platforms including the UK s Digital Screen Network.
