STILLWATER 鈥?Elise  Patter <a href=https://www.brumates.us>brumate tumbler</a> son  Stormann, 93, died on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Orono Commons in Orono, ME.Elise was born in Hampden, ME on March 26, 1922, the daughter of Ernest and Nina  Grant  Patterson. She graduated from Hampden Academy in 1939 as Valedictorian of her class. She attended Farmington State Teachers Coll <a href=https://www.brumates.us>brumate</a> ege.On May 31, 1941, she was married to Howard W. Stormann, Jr. They made their home in Stillwater where they  <a href=https://www.owalas.com.de>owala</a> raised their family. They were married for 59 years, before he predeceased her in 2000.Elsie worked for The United States Postal Service for 30 years, 17 of those years as Postmaster in Stillwater.She was a member of the National Association of Postmasters of The United States, a longtime member of The Stillwater Federated Church, and The Annie Matthews Women Society. She volunteered for many years at the church fairs and the bean suppers.Elsie had many different interests. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, playing cards, play golf, watching The Red Sox, and eating out. Elsie and Howard traveled extensively throughout The United States to attend Postmaster conventions. She delivered meals for many years to shut-ins through the  Meals For Me  program. She loved riding to the coast for lobster and a picnic.Most of all she loved her family.
